Vasko Atanasovski ADRABESA Quartet is a group of four virtuoso and progressive musicians, coming together from three different countries and two different generations. Their knowledge and interpretations hit almost all music styles. They play music of Vasko Atanasovski who is one of the most creative and authentic Slovenian composers and musicians. In last years he published more albums that are all building a pedestal of Slovenian ethno – jazz production. Adrabesa is music of contemporary character and folkloristic style. It joins elements of classical European music, jazz, flamenco and czardas as Balkan and Eastern musical traditions; it crates new visions and expressions. The performance is a great mix of many musical styles and elements (ethno, improvised, jazz, folk, modern…) – uprising in a new and fresh musical language that takes us through many landscapes – beautiful and painful, sophisticated and simple, powerful and minimal, red and white, Eros and Tanatos…An expressive meeting of Balkan/Eastern and modern European sound. The international group are joining acknowledged musicians one of the best in their field.
