MAN IN THE SHADOW - They are the oldest and the most active HC band here! When I went first on HC show they had their second gig. They impressed me so much that I immediately start thinking about doing my own band. They called themselves anarcho - emo! I call the Slovenian political HC legends ;)! Great band! VITAMIN X - Sxe youth crew pride from Netherlands! They play fast lively old school HC with some punk parts. Sometimes the reminds me on Razlog za. Their lyrics deal with a lot of different and interesting topics. Heh it was sound really strange and funny when I realized that their singer was talking in Croatian language between each song! CATHARSIS -  Ohhh yess!! This is probably the best HC band on the world! Catharsis are political band from USA and the play fast angry metallic HC with a lot of other different elements. This band really have something to say......they have long speeches before each song and this is what I really like about this band. I don't listen to their CD that often but the show was amazing! By the way, their famous singer Brain also writes this great fanzine Inside Frond and other CrimethInc. products! Ajdovščina 6.12.99  
      

NEWBORN - What a great band!!! I saw them two times and each time the impressed me so much. I don't know much about Hungarian HC bands at all, but I hope there are more bands like this over there! Newborn are this kind of band that put together different kinds of styles - and they do it very well!! It's melodic new school, emo, old school music with screaming/ sung vocals and very well written political lyrics! Their new songs reminds me on Stretch Armstrong! Awesome!!! Ajdovščina 6.12.99

THE TRANS MEGETTI - Emotional music with rock' n roll sound. They reminds me on Doors. Ajdovščina 23.11.99

BOTCH - Crazy, chaotic, heavy, powerful, metallic..... they  shown us all this madness one their show here in Ajdovščina. I enjoyed their show so much - it was so.....good! They have used all this light effects which gave extra power to the sound. Botch are from USA and I think they have quite many releases out there! Their new release reminds me on Coalesce! MY HERO DIED TODAY - This band is from Germany and they play some kind of emo-violence new school ala Refused. I'm not really into their style of music but they have a good lyrics. I can's tell you nothing else about this band :( Ajdovščina 20.11.99
      

HIGHSCORE - Great old school HC from Germany! Probably one of my favorite old school band. The music is powerful and fast - just the way it must be! But the main reason I like this band are their lyrics. Positive, political,.... Check out their 7'' on La Familia records! Ajdovščina 22.9.99 

GET UP KIDS - Once they were my best emo rock band, but now hmm....I don't know. They become very big and popular band and I'm not that interesting in their music and new releases anymore. Their lyrics are about love, love and love. That's pretty boring I think. But still...their music is great, especially in the summer time or when you fall in love. You should check their release on Doghouse Records ''Four minute mile''. It rules! When I was on their show the audience got crazy. They were the last band on Vort'n Vis festival and I was so tired that I didn't enjoy their gig that much.....Belgium 22.8.99 

JANE - I first heard them in Belgium. They did a great show and they were one of  the best band on that festival. Too bad that I didn't know them before.......I mean, if I would see them now wwwwoooo! It would be crazy! Anyway, a few weeks later I finally got their CD ''A doorway to elsewhere'' and it was exactly what I expected. It starts with church music and than.......pure metallic powerful HC attack with the most brutal/screaming vocals I ever heard before!!! By the way, they are from Germany!  Belgium 22.8.99
