01.11.01* Hey! I don't know if you know yet, but LowPunch are no longer existing. Our final show happend on 13.7.2001 in Nova Gorica (mostovna). You probably wondering what went wrong but I really don't want to talk about that. Let's just say that it wasn't everything on the right place. Of course we will still continue our strouggle with new bands and projects but I will keep you informing about that on Xstorm insideX website. Good luck!

11.6.01* I just updated the shows section.

7.4.01* Hey! Yesterday we had a nice show in Kranj and last week we played in Metelkova - you can read a show review HERE. We are probably going into the studio at the beginning of May where we will record a couple of new songs. I think there will be some changes in band, but more about that later...

17.3.01* So what's new about the band? There is one new interview in the words section and a new mp3 which is not really that new. As you probably noticed we canceled 3 shows this month. There are already rumors spreading around we beaten all the records in canceling shows. What can we do. Health is on first place. Dean had some problems with his throat lately so we couldn't done nothing than canceled a show. Anyway, I have also some other more pleasant news for you. Our firs 4 brand new songs are going to appear a compilation CD with 10 political old school bands from all over the world. CD will come out in summer, June/July and it will have only unreleased or new versions of the songs. Bands already futured are Pointing Finger (Portugal), Razlog Za (Croatia), Cita Akiesme (Latvia), Feud (Philippines),... The CD will be 100% DIY with labels from all over the world participating (el trasgo, refuse, take4, maybe 625, maybe Commitment, etc etc). There should be 1000 CDs + a bunch of tapes.

9.3.01* Hey kids! After a long time we finally managed to update this boring page. It was very busy and stressful time since the last update. We came back from our 10-day tour with Entreat around Europe in one piece and we are very satisfied with it. It was a real adventure. Something totally different. Sitting all day in the van, then playing, sleeping on the floor and another day the same movie. It was not easy...anyway, at least now we know how touring looks like. And what was so good about this tour? Well, first we saw some of the countries for the first time, than we met some of the foreign friends we didn't see for a long time and we also made new friendships, new pen pals, we played almost every day, ... And when you visit all this hardcore scenes form country to country it's amazing how much they are different. It's almost like a language, different from one country to another.
It's about two weeks since we came home but I'm going to try to refresh my memory and write you a short tour diary. Here we go: First day - 16.2.: I woke up, got dressed and done all the shit I'm doing every morning. Together with my brother we filled the car with all the necessary stuff and than we drove to Ajdovscina where Dean and David were waiting for us. When the entire band and the rest of the shit were in car we went in Nova Gorica where the van was and the rest of the team. The problems already begun before we came in N.G. In the middle of highway between Ajdovscina and Nova Gorica, Dean remembered he forgot his sleeping bag but we decided to continue the road. We had a great weather. It was like we are going to the sea, full of expectations and hope. We couldn't believe - ''LowPunch are going on Tour round Europe''! When we were in Nova Gorica we continued our trip in the van that we shared with Entreat. Together with us went also our ''director'' Miran with his car, Teo, Neja and Špela. Valter was our driver. We went across Italy to Austria. We had our first show in Innsbruck. It was a small place, quite some people showed up and than we start to play. I had some problems with my bass that night so it wasn't that comfortable for me but lucky the energy remained and the audience got crazy. Also Entreat had some guitar problems but the audience moved on. In spite of all this problems it was a great show.
17.2. and 18.2. were the days off. We have stayed in a big apartment somewhere in Innsbruck. The guy who gave us a place to sleep and shared his apartment with us for two days was really nice. After these two days we were overfilled with energy. Our next date was in Germany - Ohringen. We really sucked that day. I don't know...it was like in the old days...we had no energy in us. Entreat did the opposite. They really kicked ass that night...great live appearance.
On 20.2. we had another show in Germany. It was in Leipzig. That day also Driftnet and Realign played. The show wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Nothing special.
Than next day we went in Roznov - Czech Republic that was all in snow. Amazing how cheap you can get food there. The show was great even there were not many people at the show. I really enjoyed playing there.
Next day (22.2.) we moved back in Austria where we stopped in Vienna. We didn't play there because there were place just for one band. Dean had a sore throat so we decided not to play there. This show was probably the worst one. Lots of other bands played there but nothing really interesting. Entreat were the last band and they were good like always. Unfortunately almost everybody left before they came on stage. We didn't got much food and they gave us zero money. Pretty cool a? Luckily, the next day we went in Hungary. We played in a town called Sarvar and it was great. Probably the craziest show on this tour. People here are really kind and even crazier. Together with us were playing With open arms and Blood is fire. Both great! We were very impressed by this country.
And than we had just one show left. This one was in Krems - Austria. There was a lot of smoke in the air but the show was great. It was our last show so we showed all we could. The same goes for Entreat. After the show we were just waiting to leave. Home sweet home. Valter drive all night and we were home at 9.00 o'clock in the morning. This is our tour diary written in a very short way.

26.1.01* We are very sorry that we couldn't came to play in Banialuka and Kutina this weekend. Looks like everything's going wrong lately. This time was illness. First me (Ivo) and than Dean. Shit happens!

29.12.00* Hi! Greetings to every one and thanks a lot for visiting this site. As you already noticed this is an official Low Punch web site. The page is totally fresh so please don't complain about all the mistakes you find - we are working on this. But you can let us know if you find any! We will try to update this site as frequently as it's possible so you could see what's going on with this band, which are our plans, ideas, steps... About a week ago our first full length came out on Choose Life records. We are pretty satisfied with this creation but there were also some problems I will talk about later. CD includes 13 totally new songs + 11 older songs as a bonus tracks from the demo tape. Besides the lyrics there are also explanations written in Slovenian and English language. We're sure you won't miss the point this time. Ok. Let's go to the errors now. Mistakes we did this time are mostly in the booklet. There was a huge mistake which we totally overlooked and it was disclosed only when the booklet was already printed. I'm talking about the song called ''Our Epitaph''. Well, we had to found the plan so came out with the little stickers, which we put over the error. After that we came to the next mistake. Lyrics are not correctly set by turns but this was not really our fault because the guys from the printing house fucked it up. These are not that huge mistakes after all but they brought us some extra work. Heh...we should be happy that it wasn't even worse because everything was made in such a hurry. I really don't know why we were hurrying so much...this will be our lesson for the future. Lately we got quite some offers from various labels and bands which want us to appear on their compilations and split releases. The firs label that asked us was a label from the Netherlands called Out of Step records. We will probably made 3 new songs for them which will appear on a 4-way split together with Straightforward from Slovenia and two other bands from Netherlands (I think that will be Dandare and Fast food boys) When this split comes out a guy from this label will set us one month long Europe tour. This is for the Summer 2001. Than also a guy from France is asking as for 10 minutes of music for his compilation with just political old school sounding bands. I like this guy! Also a band called Pressing from Serbia asked us to do a split 7'' and lots of other compilations. I don't know what to say. We don't want to hurry that much because this way the songs will suck...we will see. For now we made 2 new songs! I think that's enough for this update. Oh yeah.... and we wish you all the best in the new millennium!
